Bug Eyed: Perky fashion plate heroine Wasp evolved into a bizarre insect creature in the 90’s in order to make her more edgy. Fans hated it, and she was cute and coiffed soon enough.
The Redemption Of Beauty: Comic books hate a Plain Jane. Songbird started off as a slim young woman, like model Kate Moss. In time, she became a curvy, busty woman in the typical comic book mold.
